LeaderSHPE
LeaderSHPE is a program for Freshman, Sophomores, and transfer who are interested in being more involved in SHPE and gaining more leadership experience. Being a member of this program provides members the opportunity to be behind the scenes of SHPE events and work with members of the executive board. LeaderSHPE members plan and execute social and community service events such as Winter Bash and Noche de Ciencias. This program is also a great stepping stone to the executive board or chair positions.
MentorSHPE
MentorSHPE is a program that emphasizes the SHPE mission statement by actively practicing the “support” and “development” with our mentors and mentees. MentorSHPE helps our members grow both professionally and academically through guidance from upperclassmen/graduate student mentors. It also has helped build a sense of familia through social events that encourage mentor and mentee bonding.
